How to: Unplug

Saturday, February 24, 2007

A lot of people have been asking me how to save movies and other clips from youtube.com and other sites featuring the same plugins. For those of you who still don't know how to do it, I'm gonna tell you in 6 easy steps. (Actually, I found this out by accident when I was looking for video clips for our school report).

  1. Log into a website like youtube.com and select the clip of your choice.
  2. Right click anywhere on the page.
  3. Click on the option UnPlug.
  4. You will be directed to this screen.
  5. Select the file where it says "this is probably the one you want" and click save.
  6. A pop-up window will then ask you where you want to save the file.
There, you're done! That's 6 simple steps to follow. No biggie!

Note: I did this using the Mozilla Firefox browser. Unplug is an add-on for Mozilla Firefox browser that unplugs you're Plug-ins. How cool is that?! If you want to download Mozilla Firefox click this link: FIREFOX For the add-on Unplug click this link: UNPLUG

Anyway, here's the full video clip of
The Man of 100 Voices. This is pretty cool, actually. Enjoy!
