Blog Niche: Books Books Books

A few weeks ago, Miss Julie talked about blog niches and asked us what niche would we want to blog about. Because I am a self-proclaimed book worm and have been reading most of my life, I wanted to have a multi-authored blog niche about books and books reviews. Read about the whole article here.

Fast forward to a last week when our blog Books Books Books was created and is now up and running! I am joined by my really close friends Ehn and Lurchie. Incidentally, we have been friends since grade school and have shared our passions with books.

In fact, Books Books Books was coined from our favorite bargain bookstore back in Dumaguete. Well, it's not really called Books Books Books but the big sign by their shop had BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS written in bold letters so we thought that was what it was called!

Now that the bookstore has transfered to a less accessible location, we don't go out of our way to check it out but we still retained our love for books.

So join us in our quest to dissect books and give out free eBooks (if available).

Deranged Blogger Buzz #4: Pinay Mommy Dreamer

Deranged Blogger Buzz number 4 is up! This time I'm buzzing Mommy Elvs of Pinay Mommy Dreamer. Her blog showcases a lot of creative ideas fit for mommies. Although I am not a mommy yet, I still hop over to her site and read articles about faith and devotion. Her thoughts and insights inspire me to think and dig deep into myself. Mommy Elvz is a loving wife and proud mother of two kids.
It is said that when you dream, you create things out of your imagination. True enough, some of her stories are indeed creations of her imagination and experiences in life.
Her articles about health are indeed insightful and they give readers a worthful of knowledge.
Pinay Mommy Dreamer's blog is indeed on my RSS reader and one of the blogs that I visit everyday.

Deranged Blogger Buzz #3: Life and Me

A peek into my sunny life in beautiful Singapore. Want to know more about Singapore? Check out Pinay Jade's blog Life and Me. Her blog chronicles her life in Singapore and more. From daily posts to viewing sights in Singapore, this pinay has got it going for her.

Pinay Jade loves to travel and loves to learn about other cultures. Her blog has pretty interesting articles about the things she learned and saw in sunny Singapore. This showed me Singapore through Pinay Jade's eyes or lenses, as the case may be. Her blog Life and Me shows her life while in Singapore. Clearly this girl loves adventure and her blog boasts of her adventures while exploring Singapore!

Interesting facts about the name Jade:

Jade', or yu, as it is called in China, is strictly speaking a generic term for two different gems, nephrite and jadeite. The name is derived from the Spanish 'piedra de ijada', loin-stone, jade having been recognised by the Amerindians as a remedy for kidney ailments. Because of its beneficial effect on the kidneys, the stone was also known as 'lapis nephriticus'. That, indeed, is where the term 'nephrite' came from.

Deranged Blogger Buzz #2: Aeirin's Collections

Aeirin's Collections authored by Irish. Mommy Irish, as I call her is an ardent blogger with her blog showcasing her love of blogging and of life. I got to know her when I joined one of those blog tags and meme's and we quickly became online friends (I think!). She has helped me with some codes for my blog and is always there to lend a hand when you need it.

Mommy Irish's name numerology states that "[her] talents center in humanistic interests and approaches. [She] likes to help others as [she] was intended to be the 'big sister' type. [She] operates best when [she] follows [her] feelings and sense of compassion, and allow [herself] to be sensitive to the needs of others. [She] works well with people, and has the potential to inspire. Creative ability, imagination and artistic talent of the highest order are present in this expression." I believe this completely describes Mommy Irish.
Her blog Aeirin's Collections also showcases her outgoing and creative personality. From recipes, daily experiences, and funny videos and pictures, you name it! I love her label "Only in the Philippines" since it shows random pictures about signs and such found in the Philippines.
This is one blog that I always love to check everyday!

Who is this girl with mud smudged cheeks? She is a loving wife, a mother of two great kids, and a very close friend. Not only is she one heck of a writer, she has one versatile blog Never Dainty. Our friends lovingly call her Lurch making it really clear that she is never dainty. A tomboyish girl all her life, she exudes energy and pizazz, a love for life and a thirst for adventure.

Lurch is one of the people who tempted me into the world of blogging and the internet since she has been blogging way back in high school when blogs were still unpopular.
Never Dainty, one of her latest blogs, showcases her talent not only in talent, but her love for being "undainty" as she possibly can.
